Paradise Beach is one of the finest and popular beaches of Pondicherry. There is no direct accessibility to this beach from road. So, it is accessible only by boat from the Chunnambar Boat House. Arulmigu Manakula Vinayagar Temple

Manakula Vinayagar Temple is a very famous temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha. This is the prime tourist destination of Pondicherry. The Idol of the Lord Ganesha is mesmerizing as it represents 16 different forms of Lord Ganesha. This temple is approx. 500 years old and has a very high belief of Hinduism followers. You will feel that your mind and soul is rejuvenated here as this place is very peaceful and divine. The most interesting fact about this temple is that it is believed that the Lakshmi elephant gives its blessings to all the devotees. Every year, Brahmothsavam festival is celebrated for 24 days in this temple.

Auroville is a widespread town and it is known as the 'City of Dawn'. It was established in 1968 by Mirra Richard. At the time of its inauguration, soil from more than 124 nations was blended and put inside a lotus shape urn, symbolizing the unity of the whole world. It was designed by Roger Anger, who was a French architect. The purpose behind the establishment of Auroville, is to enhance human solidarity. This is the place where people, who are the citizens of various nations, can live a peaceful life. The mission was begun by a French Lady in 1968. This Lady considered Aurobindo Ghosh as her spiritual counsellor, who later on turned into his pupil.
Church of Sacred Heart of Jesus

This church is a very prominent and religious place for Christians. People also call it the ‘Parent Church’ for the Catholic region of Pondicherry. It is situated at the south lane; the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus was consecrated in 1907. The Church structure has 24 segments and it is 18 meters high, 48 meters wide and 50 meters in length. This amazing church was made in Gothic architecture style. The church is designed with eye-catching exquisite glass paintings that are inspired from the life of Jesus Christ. It is one of the most visited and beautiful places of Pondicherry.
