The Colosseum or Flavian Amphitheatre
Location: Piazza del Colosseo, 1, 00184 Roma, Italy

Also known as the Flavian Amphitheatre, the Colosseum is an oval shaped, largest built amphitheatre, located in the middle of Rome. Built in 72 AD, this amphitheatre could accommodate between 50,000 - 80,000 spectators to watch gladiatorial contests, public spectacles such as mock sea battles (for only a short time as the hypogeum was soon filled in with mechanisms to support the other activities), animal hunts, executions, re-enactments of famous battles, and dramas based on Classical mythology. The Colosseum has beautiful arched entrances that allowed easy access to the numerous spectators. Built with a practical design, this ellipse shaped Colosseum with 80 entrances, represents the excellent craftsmanship of the Roman era.

Built in 118–128 AD by King Publius Aelius Hadrian, this granite church was once an ancient roman temple. Dedicated to all Roman Gods, it is one of the most influential and preserved building belonging to ancient times in Rome. Two kings of Italy, Vittorio Emanuele II and Umberto I as well as the Queen of Umberto, Margherita lie buried in the Pantheon.

Located in the center of Rome, Roman Forum was a very important building during the ancient times. Surrounded by ruins of several important ancient government buildings, for centuries, it was the main piazza of the city. It was the place where all business was conducted, news was exchanged, major events like triumphal processions and elections, public speeches and other commercial affairs took place. It housed important buildings of the time such as the Royal Residence, the Temple of Vesta (7th century BC) and the Regia (8th century BC) as well as the surrounding complex of the Vestal Virgins.
Trevi Fountain
Location: Piazza di Trevi, 00187 Roma, Italy.

You can take Bus from Barberini.
Located in the Trevi district, this famous fountain was built in 1762 by artist Nicola Salvi and Pietro Bracci. This largest Baroque fountain celebrates the power of water and is a wonderful work that is settled between the palaces in the city. It is a breath taking sight with numerous creatures of fantasy built in the structure giving a mesmerizing effect. The effects of light on the marble create an intense scene that could be seen in many famous movies. It is believed that you will return here if you throw the coins in this fountain from the right hand over the left shoulder.
Vatican Museums

Timings: Monday to Saturday- 9 Am- 4 Pm, Sunday closed.

From Termini Station
Metro Line A, Direction Battistini, Stations: Ottaviano-S. Pietro-MuseiVaticani; Cipro (from both stations 10 minutes walk).
From Ciampino Airport
Terravision Pullman travel up to the Termini Station and from here you can go according to the Metro directions.
The Taxi ride from both the Airports takes around 40 minutes.
